Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Every time Congress meets they take away more of our liberties.
March 8, 2012 H.R. 347 was signed by the constitutional law professor, Barack Obama. It is cleverly worded to make perfect sense, but there are some parts I have a problem with.
Don’t we already have enough laws? Isn’t it already illegal to trespass or commit violent acts against other people? Why do we need duplicate, superfluous laws?
They use the law to break the law.
H.R. 347 states:
‘‘(1) knowingly enters or remains in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority to do so;
‘‘(2) knowingly, and with intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions, engages in disorderly or disruptive
conduct in, or within such proximity to, any restricted building or grounds when, or so that, such conduct, in fact, impedes or disrupts the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions;
‘‘(3) knowingly, and with the intent to impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions, obstructs or impedes ingress or egress to or from any restricted building or grounds… shall be punished…
‘‘(1) the term ‘restricted buildings or grounds’ means any posted, cordoned off, or otherwise restricted area—
‘‘(C) of a building or grounds so restricted in conjunction with an event designated as a special event of national significance; and
‘‘(2) the term ‘other person protected by the Secret Service’ means any person whom the United States Secret Service is authorized to protect under section 3056 of this title or by Presidential memorandum, when such person has not declined such protection.” – Government Printing Office
This affects both sides of the political spectrum. The side that gets the worse treatment is the side opposite of the party in power at the time.
The law says that you must knowingly break it. You must trespass with the intent of disruption.
This law outlaws protests. Not all protesters are trespassers. All protests aren’t premeditated.
How could Joe Wilson know beforehand that he would need to call Obama a liar? It doesn’t matter though. He disrupted a Government function. The man with the, “What Bill?” sign committed a premeditated act of disorderly conduct and deserves to be Joe Wilson’s cell-mate.
Do you remember this incident?
How many “hate crimes” did you hear committed by the yelling of the “N” word? None. Doesn’t matter. They are all guilty of obstructing and impeding ingress or egress to or from restricted buildings or grounds.
Newt Gingrich and I frequent the same restaurant. The last time I saw him there; he was accompanied by Secret Service. The restaurant isn’t a restricted building. Dinner isn’t a Government function. Many people walked up to him and spoke with him, but if this law was in effect then; anyone who debated with him or held up a vote Romney sign in the dining room would be a felon.
This is just the beginning. Don’t think that they aren’t working on a way to extend this law to protests and dissent everywhere. They won’t stop until they stop us from saying bad things about them, writing contrary opinions about what they do, or thinking ill thoughts about them.
They need you to stay home and not interrupt them when they pass unconstitutional laws like this designed to install tyranny and reduce the population to just them and their ilk. They don’t need you exposing their lies and waking people up to the truth. These people are smarter and better than you. They know what’s best for you and they don’t need your interference while they’re controlling your lives, OK?
Just be a good citizen and STFU!
Fined $300,000 and run out-of-town. Married three times and owes Tiffany’s 500 large…
Someone asked me today; if I would let Newt Gingrich handle my money and investments? He said his golf buddies wouldn’t let him run their Wendy’s.
The best President would be a man born and raised in the United States. An educated, civic man who has managed a successful business and is ready to commit to serving this country by upholding the constitution.
A man with these characteristics will be loyal to the country and obey our law if his motivation for doing it is, service. It should be obvious that a man who spends 25% or more, of his short time on Earth, to politics, is a career politician.
A career politician will do whatever his puppet masters need done. A true Patriot would do it for service. People like George Washington believed that the best government would include people who, after becoming prosperous and successful enough from their productivity, would be able to retire from their work to represent the people.
A true civic patriot would be a successful man who is either a successful business-man from supplying high-quality American goods and services to the Capitalist, Free-Market/and or a Veteran.
If that man served this country and shot/and or got shot at by an enemy of the
Constitution; it would be easier for me to find him well-qualified for the job.
The President is Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
The movie Top Gun is the life of John Mcain. He was shot down over the Godless jungles of Vietnam where they held him prisoner for almost six years.
George HW Bush was shot down in the middle of the Pacific Ocean he was rescued
by a submarine right before being captured by the enemy. Do you remember when George Bush threw up on the Prime Minister?
One of the enemy was at the dinner. He told Bush that he remembered rowing out to capture him. He had to flee when the submarine popped up and shot at them. The man then told Bush that they were stuck on an island and starving and eating captured, fallen soldiers.
Many of our Presidents have fought in battles and wars defending this land, people, and Constitution. Many have also made significant contributions to mankind through the products and services made available because of their industry.
If one should choose his friends the way he would pick apples; shouldn’t he choose the President with the same discretion?
Of the people running for the highest office; who will respect the law? Who will repeal the Affordable Care Act, the parts of the NDAA that allow citizens to be “disappeared”, exiled, and imprisoned indefinitely. Which candidate will restore freedom and liberty by not trying to control every minutiae of your personal and business life?
- Does Nancy Pelosi have dirt on Newt Gingrich? (bazaardaily.com)
What has changed in South Carolina in the last two years? I thought the state was a conservative, capitalist, right-wing kind of place, but maybe it isn’t anymore.
A little more than two years ago, South Carolina’s governor, Mark Sanford, disappeared. Upon his return; he said he was hiking the Appalachian Trail. This turned out to not be true, for in fact; he was in Argentina with a woman who was not his wife.
The people of South Carolina demanded his resignation. Sanford refused to resign so they began the impeachment process. The impeachment fell through because his term was almost over, and the state legislature censured him instead.
I guess much can change in a couple of years. Despite his history of marital infidelities, and criticisms of capitalism; Newt Gingrich has won the Republican primary in South Carolina. “It’s that I articulate the deepest-held values of the American people,” he said. Isn’t the Republican Party, the party of family values?
Is attacking capitalism a deep-held American value? Gingrich may have won because of his attacks on Mitt Romney‘s capitalist practices at Bain Capital. His ads called Romney a vulture because companies he invested in went out of business. Gingrich made 1.6 to 1.8 million dollars consulting to the laissez-faire, free-market company*, Freddie Mac, and then the economy crashed. I thought South Carolina would be one of the last states to betray capitalism. Is this the same right-to-work state that was upset with the National Labor Relations Board for not allowing Boeing to open a plant there?
Newt Gingrich did at one time support the mandatory individual health insurance mandate which will eventually cause a loss of jobs when insurance companies go out of business. Newt Gingrich did sit on the couch with Nancy Pelosi and said that humans were causing global warming and the government needs to do something about it. What will the government do about it? The government’s solution to global warming will cost millions of jobs. Newt Gingrich scolded Bill Clinton for his extramarital affairs while he, himself was cheating on his wife.
Is the Republican Party going to become indistinguishable from the Democratic Party? This reminds me of Second Timothy Chapter 3.
Is Newt Gingrich the epitome of right-wing conservative principles and values? From his past; I might say no; but that was the past, and I guess many things can change in a couple of years!
* I was being sarcastic: Freddie Mac is a government sponsored entity, which is definitely not laissez-faire, free market capitalism.
Public School Defends Posting Nativity Scene, Air Force Base Won’t Remove Nativity Scene, Menorah, Bill Press Tells Tebow: ‘S-T-F-U!’ About Jesus, Cops Summoned To Florida Elementary School After Girl Kisses Boy, Senate legalizes bestiality in the Armed Forces, A new study shows that mothers who return to the workforce are happier than mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their kids.
I reckon those mothers spent so much time away from home; they forgot who their kids were and wound up making out with them in public. Did you see the mother and son rolling around on the gym floor like they were going to make a baby right there in front of everybody? Her new grandsonson? His new little sisdaughter?
Stupid principal said that normal red-blooded, freedom-loving, God-fearing Americans are upset because we saw the video on YouTube and took it out of context. Oh, sorry Principal Wollersheim. We took it out of context. I’m glad you explained the whole situation to us. Oh wait; you gave no explanation. What is wrong with you? I recall public displays of affection being disallowed at every school I’ve attended. I don’t think context matters.
Principal Wollersheim; I don’t accept your weak apology with the stupid little smirk on your fat face. I’ll accept your apology right before your sentencing. You are guilty of the same crimes committed by the strip-search scammer, David R. Stewart. I pray that the people of your county in Minnesota are calling your Superintendent and demanding your termination. I pray that next, they call the D.A.’s office and demand you be charged and dragged into court.
Newt Gingrich’s statement about poor kids working in their schools outraged people. Rush Limbaugh made a good point about this when he asked; why were people upset about suggesting schoolkids working? Aren’t many Americans unemployed and desiring work? Isn’t the President pushing a “Jobs Bill” now? Limbaugh asked, isn’t public school preparation and training for work? Well, if suggesting schoolkids work is controversial, then maybe public school isn’t about work. Maybe it is all about indoctrination.
If this man doesn’t rot in prison; this will be one more proof to us that there is an agenda to dumb down the American people so that we will accept anything that is imposed upon us.
