Obama Is Not His Brother’s Keeper

…Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? – Genesis 4:8-9

Am I my brother’s keeper? Does anyone else get nervous hearing that phrase?

Keeping your brother sounds so nice and altruistic. “Hey, brother; I’m gonna keep you. I love you.”

It’s all so great and wonderful in the beginning, but seems to always end in tragedy.

The president is working with some philanthropic misanthropes to help young men of color not drop out of school and find themselves rotting in prison because this is a problem and these people are excellent at fixing problems.

Many of these folks have been on the front lines in this fight for a long time. – Barack Obama

They started a war on poverty in 1964 and no one is poor now. They started the war on drugs in 1971 and no one buys, sells, or uses drugs anymore. So if past performance is indicative of future performance; they should be very successful with this program. Success for whom; the young men of color or the philanthropic misanthropes?

I wouldn’t trust them.

Why would the same people who are murdering rich, White banking executives want to help young men of color be successful?

Why would the president, who doesn’t help his own hut-dwelling brother, want to help people he doesn’t even know? This man played golf instead of attending his aunt’s funeral. Do you think he loves you?

…since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes… Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.                                                                                                                                                     – Napoleon Bonaparte

How many successful Black men owe their success to a misanthropic philanthropy program? Barack Obama? Martin Luther King? Frederick Douglas? Dick Gregory? J.C. Watts? Dr. Ben Carson? Kenneth I. Chenault? Chris Gardner?

They made it without the government’s “help”; why can’t you?

The hand that gives is above the hand that takes. They want to “help” you so they can indoctrinate and control you!

The Trees

Are you happy now?

There are more Americans dependent on the federal government than ever before in U.S. history. According to the Survey of Income and Program Participation conducted by the U.S. Census, well over 100 million Americans are enrolled in at least one welfare program run by the federal government. Many are enrolled in more than one. That is about a third of the entire population of the country. Sadly, that figure does not even include Social Security or Medicare. Today the federal government runs almost 80 different “means-tested welfare programs”, and almost all of those programs have experienced substantial growth in recent years. Yes, we will always need a “safety net” for those that cannot take care of themselves, but it is absolutely ridiculous that the federal government is financially supporting one-third of all Americans. How much farther do things really need to go before we finally admit that we have become a socialist nation? At the rate we are going, it will not be too long before half the nation is on welfare. Unfortunately, we will likely never get to that point because the gigantic debt that we are currently running up will probably destroy our financial system before that ever happens. – The American Dream

You got your free cell phones, free food stamps, free transportation, free education, free clothes, section 8 housing vouchers for $25.00 a month. You got your utility bills subsidized. You got your free Medicare, Medicaid, and the Supreme Court even said it’s legal for the Government to just go ahead and take over the whole health care industry and give it all to you for free. Free free free free. Everything is free. Isn’t all this freedom nice? Is this what it means to be free and live in a free country?

If the dream is won
Though everything is lost
We will pay the price
But we will not count the cost – Rush

Low price – high cost.

It is time for a basic Civics lesson:

George Washington and Civic Virtue

At the end of The Federalist 55, James Madison observed that “republican government presupposes the existence of [civic virtue] in a higher degree than any other form.” The American Founders understood that political freedom requires a limited government—that is, government should leave people alone, for the most part, in their private associations such as family, religion, and business. But the Founders also understood that limited government is risky: When people are left alone, they might use that freedom to violate the rights of others; or they might simply live irresponsibly, depending on others with money and resources to care for them. Thus limited government requires certain kinds of civic virtue, no less than political freedom requires limited government.

George Washington in many ways was, and remains, the model of what it means to be an American citizen. He embodied the civic virtues that Madison described as indispensable for a self-governing republic. These virtues can be divided into four categories:
1.Civic Knowledge
2.Self-restraint
3.Self-assertion
4.Self-reliance

…As Madison wrote in Federalist 51. “A dependence on the people is no doubt the primary control on the government.” The primary responsibility for keeping American government within the confines of the Constitution, and therefore protecting the liberty of the American people, belongs to the American people themselves. Or, as Ben Franklin once quipped, the Americans have been blessed with a wise and free republican form of government, “if they can keep it!”

…In his First Annual Address to Congress, President George Washington said that the people must be taught to know and to value their own rights; to discern and provide against invasions of them; to distinguish between oppression and the necessary exercise of lawful authority…to discriminate the spirit of liberty from that of licentiousness – cherishing the first, avoiding the last; and uniting a speedy but temperate vigilance against encroachments, with inviolable respect to the laws.

…Washington and the other founders knew that for citizens to live in a free society with limited government, each citizen must be able to control or restrain himself; otherwise, we would need a police state—that is, a large, unlimited government—to maintain safety and order.

In his First Inaugural Address, Washington said, “the foundation of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality….” He continued by saying, “there is no truth more thoroughly established that there exists in the economy and course of nature, an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness.”

“The propitious smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of right and order, which heaven itself has ordained….” Given all the freedom that comes with a limited government, a people that live rightly and virtuously will probably end up living happily with all the goods, material and otherwise, that make the difference between living and living well. If a people violate the “rules of right and order which heaven has ordained,” they will probably end up living unhappily, with little to ease their misery.

If you are one of the 100 million of us on some form of welfare, you may think everything is just fine now. You can’t see your unease and misery coming, and it is coming soon.

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

The trouble with the maples
(And they’re quite convinced they’re right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks can’t help their feelings
If they like the way they’re made
And they wonder why the maples
Can’t be happy in their shade

There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream ‘Oppression!’
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
‘The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light’
Now there’s no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe and saw – Rush

“What really interests me about the fact that the quarreling trees are cut down in the end “by hatchet, ax, and saw” is that the handles of these tools are usually made of *wood*: the trees provided the tools for their own destruction.” – Kate, Albany, NY

If you are one of the 100 million of us on some form of welfare; are you paying the price and not counting the cost? You are supplying them with everything they need to destroy you. What will you do when they take away your benefits? What will you do when they not only deny you that life-saving prescription or procedure, but also not allow you to pay for it either? What will you do when they force you to take a life-threatening medication or undergo a procedure that you don’t want?

Maybe you should look a gift horse in the mouth.

In addition to civic knowledge, self-restraint, and self-assertion, citizens must possess the civic virtue of self-reliance. In order to be truly free, citizens must be able to provide the basic necessities of life for themselves and their families. Citizens who cannot provide for themselves will need a large government to take care of them. And as soon as citizens become dependent on government for their basic needs, the people are no longer in a position to demand that government stay limited within the confines of the Constitution. Self-reliant citizens are free citizens in the sense that they are not dependent on others for their basic needs. They do not need a large provider-government, which has the potential to become an intrusive or oppressive government, to meet those needs.

George Washington understood the need for citizens to be self-reliant. In a letter to a recent immigrant, Washington wrote of the benefits available in America to self-reliant, virtuous citizens: “This country certainly promises greater advantages, than almost any other, to persons of moderate property, who are determined to be sober, industrious, and virtuous members of society.” Washington knew, and our national experience has shown, that only a strong self-reliant citizenry is able to fully enjoy the blessings of liberty. – George Washington and Civic Virtue

I don’t want to live like the trees. If we allow the Government to force equal outcomes in all aspects of our lives, then how can anyone flourish and prosper?

Charity is best done by generous people with soft hearts who love humanity, not philanthropic misanthropes. If those people aren’t allowed blessings and success; they’ll be unable to help anyone else.

If we were all self-reliant, living sober, industrious, with virtue and restraint; we wouldn’t need charity or welfare.

Freedom isn’t free, but it doesn’t cost much. Even if you die fighting for it; it is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

Detroit: A Portent of America’s Future

Detroit: Founded in 1701 by Antoine de la Mothe, sieur de Cadillac, who is no doubt turning over in his grave.

Once called Paris of the West, Motor City because of its thriving industry and production of automobiles for the world, and Motown because  it once produced beautiful and classic music…

It was once a cultural, thriving, productive delight of America, home to many people the ilk of Charles Lang Freer. So many Detroiters became wealthy and successful enough to become philanthropic and support music and arts in the city and the country. Now Detroit gives us the Insane Clown Posse and Kwame Kilpatrick.

Detroit was the last American station on the Underground Railroad. Many people of Detroit volunteered to fight and died in the Civil War. President Lincoln said, “Thank God for Michigan!” I wonder what he would say today.

Did you notice the number of empty churches?

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. – Psalm 9:17

The condition of the city has deteriorated so much that Nolan Finley is suggesting sterilants be added to their water supply.

“Society has no business to permit degenerates to reproduce their kind” – Theodore Roosevelt

He covertly blames the problem on Black people, but is it Black people’s fault? Finley places the blame on professional welfare recipients, but who are they receiving the welfare from?

% living below the poverty level:

7. El Paso , TX 26.4%
8. Milwaukee , WI 26.2%
9. Philadelphia , PA 25.1%
10. Newark , NJ 24.2%

What do these top ten cities (pop over 250,000) with the highest poverty rate all have in common…?

Detroit, MI hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1961.

Buffalo , NY hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1954.

Cincinnati , OH hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1984.

Cleveland , OH hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1989.

Miami , FL has never had a Republican mayor.

St. Louis , MO hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1949.

El Paso , TX has never had a Republican mayor.

Milwaukee , WI hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1908.

Philadelphia , PA hasn’telected a Republican mayor since 1952.

Newark , NJ hasn’t elected a Republican mayor since 1907. –  The Reaganite Republican

Republican and Democrat are just two sides of the same coin. Generally Republicans support a bit less welfare than democrats.

Thomas Sowell calls it the Detroit Pattern.

“the Detroit pattern”– increasing taxes, harassing businesses, and pandering to unions. In the short run, it got mayors re-elected. In the long-run, it reduced Detroit from a thriving city to an economic disaster area, whose population was cut in half, as its most productive citizens fled. – Townhall.com

Without productive industry; when no productive people remain, and everyone in the government is there because they promised the people free stuff… This is what you get.

How bad is it when you don’t have a single, one, $1, dollar bill to buy a house with?

A buyer's market

I clicked the, “more”, link and on the next page there is a mortgage calculator! Of course you can’t get a mortgage at these prices. Why aren’t these people willing or able to get $1, $50, $5000, buy a house, put in some elbow grease and own a house? Those of us who are not in Detroit might say, because those houses are in the ghetto, in Detroit! Well those people in the above videos are already in Detroit, and instead of buying a house for a dollar…

It has been decades since Detroit has had the kind of leadership that espouses the philosophies of men like Milton Friedman or George Washington: Self-Reliance, Thrift, Self-control… Detroit’s and America’s politicians offer the people cradle to grave support in every need and want of the people. The people become unproductive. They can’t afford property; even for a dollar. The productive population has fled. No one is paying property taxes. After the crooks in the government skim and misappropriate the funds; there is nothing left for basic municipal services.

77 parks,  1400 acres, closed. Police stations are keeping banker’s hours. More than forty schools closed. Nearly half the citizens are illiterate.

The city will soon be bailed out by the state. The state will be bailed out by the country. The country will be bailed out by the International Banking Cabal, then who will bail us out of the Chinese-run work and re-education prison camps they’ll surely put us in for being nothing but useless eaters?

Newark, New Jersey, Vallejo,California, Jefferson County,Alabama, Detroit Michigan, Athens,Greece… Let them all be a warning to the world.

Is Sandra Fluke Qualified to be Your Lawyer?

This could destroy our country and way of life.

Beware of all whoredom, my son… For in pride is destruction and much trouble, and in lewdness is decay and great want: for lewdness is the mother of famine. – Tobit 4:12-13

“Fluke came to Georgetown University interested in contraceptive coverage: She researched the Jesuit college’s health plans for students before enrolling, and found that birth control was not included. “I decided I was absolutely not willing to compromise the quality of my education in exchange for my health care,” says Fluke, who has spent the past three years lobbying the administration to change its policy on the issue.” – Washington Post

Fluke has worked hard these past three years to finally earn her 15 minutes of fame in the limelight. Too bad she is using it to promote immorality and tell lies.

I’ll wait for you to stop crying.

Eleanor Norton Holmes called Fluke the women’s representative. According to Fluke every woman is destitute and has cysts in her ovaries.

Fluke says she sees the faces of the women affected by the policies that deny them contraceptives. I went to Georgetown last night and looked at some of those faces. I saw many smiling, happy, White people, walking around, spending money in Washington’s most expensive restaurants and upscale clothing boutiques. Many people were on dates, holding hands, and looking like they would be having sex later on. I didn’t see any homeless people or anyone asking for change to buy birth control with.

Sandra Fluke says that birth control costs too much. Women have to walk out of the store embarrassed because the pharmacist says birth control isn’t free, women have to live without birth control because they just can’t budget it. She says that regular Americans who have the good common sense God gave them would respond it’s available in other ways. She said it’s not true.

Sandra Fluke, is it not true that one can work and earn money and take that money to the store and purchase birth control? I just typed in birth control under Google Shopping and one of the products was available at 42 different stores, 24 of which were nearby my location, one of which was Sears. CVS is open 24/7.

Sandra Fluke, it is true. Birth control is available everywhere. No on is doing anything to keep anybody from it. It is even distributed to children in public schools for free. If you can afford a bus ride; take the Circulator Bus that goes from your school to North Capitol street. There is the DC Department of Health. Free birth control.

Sandra Fluke, if you need or want something; you must work to earn money and then purchase it. That is how America works.

You think it isn’t true because you want it for free. You complained that the free clinics are closing and forcing women to go without medical care.

First rule of Economics: There is no free lunch.

“If life was a game that money could buy; the rich !@&*#’s  would live and the poor !@&*#’s would die.” – The Geto Boys

Tell that to your friend who had an ovary removed. You said it yourself, Sandra Fluke. “When you let…dictate whose medical needs are legitimate and whose aren’t; a woman’s health takes a back seat to a bureaucracy focused on policing her body.”

How can you understand this, yet go to Congress to ask them to have dominion over women’s bodies?

This is why your friend lost her ovary. Instead of doing what was necessary to earn the $100 a month she needed to buy her medicine; she depended on others for it.

Why is it that women can afford $500 shoes and purses,  $12,000 average annually on cosmetics $8,000 breast implants, and name-brand clothing, but not $1000 a year on birth control?

Why couldn’t your friend cancel her cable, cell phone, or internet subscription? Why couldn’t she eat out less or buy clothes at a thrift store?

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Are you going to complain about governments and companies policing your body or complain about them not policing your body?

Sandra Fluke, I might have been born yesterday, but I stayed up all night.

You said that your friend who had an ovary removed is a lesbian. You then talked about how sad she was about not being able to have a baby. You said she wasn’t taking birth control for contraception, but now the lesbian wants a baby? You said her situation isn’t rare. I say it is. This is the first time I’ve heard of someone not being able to have kids because no one would pay for their birth control!

You told a sad story about a woman who didn’t go to the doctor after being raped because she didn’t think that Georgetown would pay for something like that.

More lies.

Did she fail to call the cops too? I think the first thing the police would do is take her to the hospital. Washington DC has a Crime Victims Compensation Program.

“The Crime Victims Compensation Program assists innocent victims of violent crime and their families with crime-related expenses such as…medical and mental health costs…”

I can’t believe that the President of the United States called this woman and said that her parents should be proud of her. Would you be proud of your daughter if she asked you to buy her birth control? Would you be proud of your daughter for lying in front of Congress and the country?

Believe me she is lying. She has to embellish those sad stories because regular upright Americans aren’t going to give her what she wants. She wants to us to finance her sex life. If we do that; what does it make her and the other recipients of tax-funded birth control? What does that make us out to be?

Who is the Pimp? Who is the Whore? Who is the John?

It’s not about health care. Pregnancy is not a disease. She thinks she is fighting for more free stuff. What she doesn’t know is that she is being used to debauch the country.

Sandra Fluke, when your puppet masters get what they want and the ChiComs take over; you won’t need birth control because it will be mandatory sterilization for everyone.

If she can get off her back long enough to study; Sandra Fluke will be an Esquire in a few years. Would you hire her? If you were accused of a crime and facing prison time, if you were being sued for a large amount of money; is she the type of person you could trust to represent you, your family or business?

How To Answer a Racist Question?

If you are 18 and not a Liberal; you have no heart. If you are 40 and not a Conservative; you have no brain. I finally realized; I was a Conservative and the difference between the Left and Right-Wing Ideologies when I was, 30.

California had a Proposition to outlaw questions of race on government forms. I felt that voting in favor of this proposed law would help to realize Martin Luther King’s dream of racial harmony.

My friend and I had an interesting argument about this. We agreed on most things, but for different reasons.

We both would like to see a racism and prejudice-free world, but  our reasons and methods of attaining this goal are very different.

He felt that collecting racial information was crucial to the survival of certain

If you legally reside inside these lines; you're an American

races. More Latinos in the Washington suburbs of Maryland get hit by cars than other races. I feel like we are all Americans. Who are we paying to figure this out? Those are people getting hit by cars. If I’m in the hospital because of a hit-and-run; I want more attention paid to my health than race.

Why didn’t the reporter, Marlo Diaz, ask, what the Mayor would do for the American Community tonight?

Why do you, Mr. Diaz, seek benefits from the government, exclusively for the Latino Community?

How much for jus d'orange?

Mr. Diaz, the United States spent 11.4% of its Foreign Aid in the Latino Community. Most of that was probably spent fighting the war on drugs.

Mr. Diaz, do you really want more of what the United States Government has to offer the Latino Community? United Fruit Company? Coups? CIA Assassinations? You do know that we gave Hugo Chavez cancer, right?

What do you want the Government to do for the Latino Community? More Mexicans killed in the Drug War than people killed in the War against Terror?

What will I do for the Latino Community tonight? Give them English Lessons.

Rick Santorum is a racist because he won’t give Black People, other people’s money.

Are any of you a, Black-Marlo Diaz? Do you want to ask the Mayor what he is going to do for the Black Community tonight? Housing Projects, Crack, Fatherless Families, Bloods & Crips, Detroit…

This is what results in Cradle to Grave Government support in every aspect of your personal life. This is the future for people who ask politicians what they’re going to do for any race, any group of people or individual. Marlo Diaz should have asked, what will the Mayor do for The Constitution? What will he do to restore Individual Liberty? What laws will he repeal?

Jesus taught forgiveness. If any of us want to live in a world free of Racism and Prejudice and Genocide; you must forgive those who have wronged your race. Just because they were Racist towards your people doesn’t mean that you should reciprocate.

This isn’t a situation to fight fire with fire. Racism will not end until YOU stop being racist first.
